Here is an update on what I have been doing lately...   I've been performing lots at several events in Edmonton including my own shows and  I just want to thank all the people who made it out to my 'Acoustic Live' performances this year!   I really appreciate all of you coming out and your ongoing support!  I have just completed the Jazz and Popular Music Program at Grant MacEwan University and i am looking forward to my Graduation next month!

I'm very grateful to be a recent award recipient of the 10K20 ($10,000.00) Rawlco Radio Recording Grant!
This grant is financially allowing me to be able to record my next album this soon!  Thanks again RAWLCO RADIO!!!

*I'm really excited to announce that I am working on my 2nd album with Producer - Russell Broom.  He is an amazing talent and i am so thrilled to be working with him and I'm already excited about the scratch tracks!!!  Can't wait to share my new songs on this record and the release date coming soon..

I would also like to thank all the radio stations across Canada that are playing songs from my debut album 'Modern Soul'.  I think the most rewarding thing for me is to share my music with people who enjoy it!


 

Just got back from Nashville, TN this week on Aug. 22nd and it was an amazing trip again!  It has been a very busy summer and just want to thank everyone who came out to my shows in May, June and July during my 'Acoustic Live' Summer Tour 2011 and thank you for your ongoing support of my music.  I recently got back from Calgary and it was a lot of fun performing at Holts Midway during the Calgary Stampede!  I was thrilled to be representing NSTS - Capital EX on July 29th on CBC Centre Stage - City Centre Mall performance and the Closing Act at Edmonton EXPO Centre during Edmonton's Capital EX!  I am looking forward to traveling again to Nashville in August...so excited!!!!  Also, i am extremely thrilled, honored and very grateful to be a recent award recipient in July 2011 of the Rawlco 10K20 ($10,000.00) Radio Recording Grant.

I will be featured on Breakfast Television - CityTV Edmonton tomorrow, Aug. 24th, 2011!  I hope you are able to tune in between 8:00- 9 am!

My 'Modern Soul' debut album is now available at various locations in Alberta and online through CD Baby.  Please visit my 'Shop' page for details!  Thank you again to all those that purchased my CD during my 'Holiday Tour' and i was happy to donate part of the proceeds from my CD sales towards the 'Salvation Army' - through (149st.Second Cup) in Edmonton, 'Make-A-Wish' Foundation - through Holt Renfrew in Calgary and the 'Love Of Reading' Foundation - through (Chapters -Indigo) on Whyte Ave in Edmonton, AB. during the 2010 holiday season.

I released my Debut Album - 'Modern Soul' on November 21, 2010 at The Red Piano at the West Edmonton Mall.  I want to thank everyone who attended my CD Release Party/Acoustic Performance that evening at the Red Piano.  It will be a night to remember forever and also thank you everyone who purchased my first CD.  I sincerely would like to thank The Red Piano for hosting my Debut Album CD Release Party and the Second Cup (89 Ave. & 149 St.) and Starbucks (Jasper Gates) for your promotional support!  I want to especially thank all the amazing musician's who played on my album; Greg Williamson - Drums, Steve Vincent - Bass, Tyler Dianocky - Guitars, Amy McClary - Cello, John Calverley - Violin, David Aide - Piano, Phil Anderson - Piano and Organ. In addition, I had played Piano on 5 of my songs on the album.  Album credits also include; Produced, Engineered and Mixed by Phil Anderson at Powersound Studios in Edmonton, Alberta and Mastering by Maor Appelbaum in Los Angeles, California.

I wanted to take the time to thank everyone who came out to my shows and performances this past year at Jeffrey's Cafe, the Red Piano in West Edmonton Mall, Fresh Start Bistro, Cafe Mondo, Music 'Festivals', Art Gallery of Alberta, Northlands Edmonton Expo Centre and the Shaw Conference Centre....to name only a few.   It was very special to perform at sold out shows this past year including my CD Release and i really appreciated all of you being there, especially leaving your own busy schedules to come out.  Also, i wanted to say thank so many of you that have come out to many of my performances this past year and for your ongoing support!!!
